Today’s Scripture Reading
Isaiah 15 – An oracle concerning Moab. Because Ar of Moab is laid waste in a night, Moab is undone; because Kir of Moab is laid waste in a night, Moab is undone. He has gone up to the temple, and to Dibon, to the high places to weep; over Nebo and over Medeba Moab wails. On every head is baldness; every beard is shorn; in the streets they wear sackcloth; on the housetops and in the squares everyone wails and melts in tears. Heshbon and Elealeh cry out; their voice is heard as far as Jahaz; therefore the armed men of Moab cry aloud; his soul trembles.
Scripture of the Week
Build a strong foundation for how a follower of Christ should think and respond based on the Word of God. Read over the following verse at least once a day for the next week:
Matthew 11:28-30 – Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

Operation Christmas Child
Samaritan’s Purse encourages OCC shoebox donors to include a personal note in each shoebox gift to encourage the recipient child in their relationship with Jesus Christ.
This is an all-church project – even if you’re unable to help pack the boxes, we welcome all notes – we need over 200.
You may enclose a thoughtful note to the child and a photo of yourself or your family. If you include your name and an address, the child may be able to write back. You may use your name, c/o the church address if you would like.
Blank cards are available in the foyer – if you use an envelope, please do not seal it, as everything must be checked at the processing center. Thank you!
